K.M. Tanvir is a lecturer of Applied Statistics and Data Science at University of Dhaka. He is currently teaching Industrial Statistics and Operations Research, SQL for Data Science and Statistical Computing I which encompasses Experimental Design and Demography.
Mr. Tanvir has completed BS and MS in Applied Statistics from University of Dhaka. Previously, he was working as statistical officer at icddr,b. His research interests focus on biostatistics, epidemiology and public health, areas in which he has been making significant contributions.
Mr. Tanvir's academic performance and research works have earned him several prestigious awards, such as the Dhaka University Dean's Award for academic excellence, the Best Innovation Award for innovative research ideas from NCHRSR2023, the NST Fellowship-2022, and BS Honours Scholarship for outstanding academic achievements.
Mr. Tanvir is passionate about research and highly values scientific collaboration.
